'! Mayor L'laahburn stated reason for call, to -wit: For the purppse of 1 adopting payroll for tl•e first half of ?5arch,1539 and to transact any other bunineno that may come before the meeting. Commissioner Hank offered the following motion: L. M. Jones having li L. M. Jones+I permit to filed his petition with the Board of Commissioners requesting the right and privilege connect to grater main- to be supplied with water service for the property at 141 N. 40th Street in accordance IL 40th St. with all rules and regulations and conditions provided by the City and the Com- missioners of Water Works, said L. M. Jones being the owner of the water main abutting', the property at 141 No, 40th Street, and the Commissioners of Water Works having endorsed their approval upon the petition filed by L. M. Jones, and having agreed to said installation in the manner as sat out in L. ?.i. Jones' petition,- I now move that the petition of L. M. Jones, dated ?.larch 16, 1939 be received and filed, and that his request be granted by the Board of Commissioners,•but the installation of pipe con- nection and water service shall be subject to all of the terms and conditions con- tsined in the petition filed by the said L. M. Jones, and the City shall in no event be liable for failure to supply water or any specified pressure. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hank, Pulliam, Stubblefield and I :'ayor '.7ashburn (4). Pnyroll - Commissioner Tank offered motion that the payroll for the first half 1st half ''nr� of March, 1939 be allowed in the amount of $10,258.36, and that the City Treasurer be authorized to pay same by checks drawn on the General Fund.
