Proceedings of Paard of Commissioners City of Paducah March 2. 1939
At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the
Co.=issionersl Chamber at tho City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky at 3 o'clock P.M., on the
2nd day of March, 1939, Cosunissioner Hank presided as Mayor pro tem in the absence
of Mayor Washburn and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names:
Corunissioners Pulliam, Stubblefield and Mayor pro tem Hank (3).
Mayor pro tem Bank, stated reason for call, to -wit: For the
purpose of allowing payroll for the last one-half of February, 1939, and to transact
any other business that may cone properly before the meeting.
} ✓ Commissioner Pulliam offered the following motion: I move that
Bidson contracts for
additions to River- the following bids on contracts for additions and alterations for Riverside Hospital,
side Hospital approv-
ed this city (said bids conforming to plans and specifications as prepared by E. T.
Hutchings, Architect), be accepted, and that the City Manager is hereby authorized
to execute said contracts:
Reinforcing Steel Paducah Iron Company $ 2534.26
ETillwork Louisville Lmbr. & Mfg.Co., 5893.00
Par Joist Paducah Iron Company 840.96
Masons Cement Geo. 13. Katterjohn & Son 1.84 net
per bbl
Glass Pittsburg Plate Glass Co. 531.00
Metal Trim Norman F. Arthur 915.00
Metal Toilet Parti-
tions (Erected) Paducah Iron Company 928.00
Finish Hardware Hart -Lockwood Company 1689.39
It is recommended by the Architect, E. T. Hutchings, that the
stove bids.be accepted. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners
Pulliam, Stubblefield and Mayor pro tem Hank (3).
Mayor pro tem Hank offered motion that the
Payroll - last half payroll for the last
February, 1539 half of February, 1939 be allowed in the amount of 010,244.39, and that the City
Treasurer be authorized to pay same by check dram on the General Fund. Adopted on
call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Pulliam, Stubblefield and Mayor pro tem Hank (3)
On motion meeting adjourned.
