Electric Plant Commissioner-aniams offered motion that the resolution of the Electric; !?card itesolution pay ;;alley, etc Plant Board of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, requesting the appropriation of the sum 500 of „500 for payment of the fees of said Board's attorneys, 'd'allor, Threlkeld & Plhitlow, I for services rendered in the suit of the City of Paducah, at al against the Kentucky Utilities Company, from July 1, 1946 to September 30, 1946, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, Williams,' and Vayor Seaton (5). Bonds & Lia Commissioner Williams offered motion that the board of Commissioners tility policies ill A Herbst receive, approve and file the following documents: A.B.Presley, ✓ etc. (1) Bond in the sum of k1000, executed by ;;ill A. Herbst and the shl Laundry American Employees' Insurance Company to the City of Paducah dated October 17, 1946. (2) Public liability Insurance policy issged by the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company to A.B.Prealoy, D.A.Presley and Jack E. Presley, d/b/a/ A. B. Presley & Sons, providing coverage for the benefit of the City of Paducah from December 3, 1946 to December 3, 1947; and, i (3) Certificate showing issuance of public liability policy by the man's L!utual Casualty Company to 9:ahl Home Laundry and the City of Paducah, providing coverage from June 24, 1946 to June 24, 1947, all of which have been dellvered to the City of Paducah as required under the provisions of an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO At1END AN OTRDINANCE E7.TIPLL'D "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN AN7f STREET, SIDE'PALK. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, 1-3111iams and Mayor Seaton (5). Transfer Unused Commissioner Friedlander offered motion that an ordinance entitled: "AN 0 DINANC� Funds 1946 AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF UNUSED FUNDS APPROPRIATED FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES UNDER THE AFPORTIONMENT ORDINANCE ADOPTED IN 1946 TO OTHER PURPOSES AND ALSO APPROPRIATING FOR SUCH OTHER PURPOSES AVAILABLE REVENUES `ieeICH WERE NOT INCLUDED IN THE BUDGET AND Ji APPORTIONMENT ORDINANCE FOR SAID YEAR", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, •-illiams and Mayor Seaton (5). Ordinance pre- Commissioner Friedlander offered the following motion: I move that a motion to scribing rules police, set I/' introduce an ordinance entitled. "AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING THE RULES AND REGULATIONS aside I. FOR THE POLICE DEPARUIENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, PRESCRIbING THE QUALIFICATIONS, POWERS AND DUTIES AND FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE 6. POLICE DEPARTMENT, PROVIDING A SEPARABILITY CLAUSE AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES I11 CONFLICT THFREWITH", which motion was made at a regular meeting of the ooard of Commissioners on November 26, 194G, bo withdrawn and that the action of the Board of Commissioners in passing said motion be vacated, set aside and held for naught. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, ailliams and "ayor Seaton (5). Adjourn meeting v Yayor Seaton offered motion that this regular meeting of the coard of Commissions to Jan. 3, 1347, be adjourned until Friday, January 3, at 7:30 P.1i1.
