Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah December 24th, 1946
At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners,
Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on December 24, 1946,1
Mayor Seaton presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, Williams and Nayor Seaton (5).
By unanimous consent of the Board the reading of the minutes of the
previous meeting was waived.

Mayor Seaton offered motion that the petition signed by Lire. Mary
Petition pro-,-, Albritton and others protesting against the installation of parking meters between 2nd !
testing parkin
meters on Ky and 3rd Streets on Kentucky Avenue, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roil,

City Treasurers V Mayor Seaton offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and file
letter recommend
transfer unused the letter of Mr. Henry Collins, the City Treasurer, in which he recommends the transfer
funds
of unexpended appropriations for the year 1946 to accounts wherein disburaementa have
exceeded the amounts appropriated, also the appropriation of funds which were not
anticipated at the beginning of the year 1946. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, Williams and Mayor Seaton (5).
Kentucky Miun- Commissioner Williams offered motion that the letter of Carl B. Viachs,

=860.00 Secretary of the Kentucky Municipal League, enclosing a statement of the service fee
charged to the City of Paducah for the year 1947 be received and filed, that the fee it
the sum of P360.00 be paid, and that the amount so paid be charged to the contingent
fund. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims,
William,a and Mayor Seaton (5).
