At a Regular ]Seating of the Loard of Commissioners held in the Commissioners'
Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Sept. 17, 1946,

7th & 8th Mayor Seaton offered motion that the petition of Mr. and 19rs. N. B. Wooley and
i others requesting the Mayor, The members of the Board of Commissioners, and the City �
Y.snager to cause to be repaired that part of George Street between 7th Street and
8th Street, be received and filed, that the matter be referred to the City hanager
for attention, and that the City Manager be requested to report to the board at Its
next meeting the action taken by him. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yens, Commissioners
Friedlander, Johnston, Sims and Mayor Seaton (4). III
Dismiss case Commissioner Johnston offered the following motion: It appearing that William

Jennings II IT. Jennings has sold his place of business known as the "Nip N' Sip" at 211 Broadway
hthe premises for which a malt beverage license has been issued, and that he is no
longer engaged in such business;

I move that the Corporation Counsel be authorized to have entered in the Franklin
Circuit Court an order dismissing the petition filed by the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
and Rudy Stewart, Alcoholic Beverage Administrator of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
against Charles Brown, Jr., Chairman, and Richard R. Slack and R. E. Keown, members
of the ^lcoholic Leverage Control Board, and William Jennings for an appeal from
the Order of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board dismissing the charges preferred
against the defendant, William U. Jennings under a citation issued by said board on
Pay 90th, 1946. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Co=issioners Frledlarder,
Johnston, Sims and Mayor Seaton (4).
