Paul, ::e- aid Needy F- S11nd At a Regular Meoting of the Loard of Commissioners held in the Commissioners' y Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 0:00 o'clock P.". on June 24th, 19466, n Payor Seaton presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their named: Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, Ifilliama and 1.'ayor -eaton (5). Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read. Commissioner %111111ams offered motion that an ordinance entitled: "Aid ORDINANCE REDUCING THE BOUNDARIES OF WE CITY OF PADUCAH BY STRIKING ObF ALL OF THAT AREA COMPRISING THE OHIO AND TE,'NESjEE RIVERS AS DEFINED HEREIN AND ACCURATELY D&'INIIJG THE BOUNDARIES OF SUCH TERRIIfORY STRICKEN OFF HEREBY", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, Williams and i'ay m Seaton (5). Commissioner Johnstonoffered motion that the letter of the City 1,1anager in which he outlines his plans for Incroaning the efficiency of the police department be re- ceived and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Teas, Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, Williams and Mayor Seaton (5). Mayor Seaton offered motion that the letter of Brady It. Stewart, Judge of McCracken County Court in which he advises that the Fiscal Court will reduce the amours of its appropriation for maintenance of the city and county health department to "2500.00, the amount heretofore appropriated by the city for that purpose, unless the city raises its appropriation to .4500.00, the amount set up in the budget of the county, and notifies the Fiscal Court of its action increasing its appropriation to „4500.00 by July 1st, 1946, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas Commissioners Friedlander, Johnston, Sims, ''Nilliams and V.ayor Seaton (5)1 Mayor Seaton made the following appointment:- Leonard Patillo having moved from /tthe City of Paducah and being unable to nerve as a member of the Veterans Housing Committee, I hereby appoint Faith Langstaff to serve an a member of said board in his place and stead subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners so that the Veterans Committee as now constituted shall. be composed of the following members - A. (Jack) Cole, who shall serve as Chairman, Schultz Ri ,^s, Charles .lawyer, Silas E. itchell, R. V. 'seen, Faith Langstaff, L. E. Conway, Henry Hennebereer and Ryon Commissioner Sims offered motion that the action of the I.rayor by appointing Faith Langstaff and Ryan Huge to serve as members of the Veterans Ilouc;ing Committee in the Place and stead o: Leonard 'Patillo, who has moved away from the City of Iaducah and Is ucalle to continue as a member of said board, be approved.
