Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.id. on February 26th, 19 6,
:!ayor Seaton presided and upon call of the Roll the following answerod to their names:
Commissioners Friedlander, Williams and Mmyor Seaton (S). Commissioners Johnston and
Sims being absent (2).

Ed of Fqual.✓ Commissioner 1-1411isms offered the following motion: The Eoard d

tine Equalization being unable to complete their work by March 1st, and having requested
an additional extension of time,- I move that the request of the Board of Equalization
be received and filed, and that the present session of said board be extended to
April lst, 1946. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Firedlander,
Williams and T'ayor Seaton (3).
Special ✓ Commissioner Sillisms offered motion that the letter of Joseph S. Froeland

J. S.Fre eland attorney for Charlie Shepherd, in which he charges that y511 was paid out illegally
by Henry Collins, city treasurer, who was authorized by H.G.McElwee, city manager, to
matte such payments, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Friedlander, :lillisms and Mayor Seaton (3).
Trash dans �rommissioner Friedlander offered motion that the City tdanager be requested
to purchase 25 trash cans to be placed on the sidewalk in the business district
provided the total cost of said cans does not exceed ;;325.00. Adopted on call of
the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Friedlander, Williams and Mayor Seaton (31.
Concert Pro Commissioner Firedlander offered motion that the City of Paducah

F o mam, and that the amount no appropriated be charged to the Continent Fund upon
the adoption of the Apportionment Ordinance for the year 1946. Adopted on call of
