Commissioners Johnston and Sims being absent (2). ;'inutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read. Ed of Fqual.✓ Commissioner 1-1411isms offered the following motion: The Eoard d 3xtena ion of tine Equalization being unable to complete their work by March 1st, and having requested an additional extension of time,- I move that the request of the Board of Equalization be received and filed, and that the present session of said board be extended to April lst, 1946. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Firedlander, Williams and T'ayor Seaton (3). Special ✓ Commissioner Sillisms offered motion that the letter of Joseph S. Froeland 101ice letter J. S.Fre eland attorney for Charlie Shepherd, in which he charges that y511 was paid out illegally by Henry Collins, city treasurer, who was authorized by H.G.McElwee, city manager, to matte such payments, be received and filed. Trash dans �rommissioner Friedlander offered motion that the City tdanager be requested to purchase 25 trash cans to be placed on the sidewalk in the business district provided the total cost of said cans does not exceed ;;325.00.
