Yinutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read. d Sign -request Vayor Seaton offered motion that the petition of ro bel C. 11itchell, at al., to remove {I requesting the Board of Commissioners to take appropriate action to require the II I !.:idwest Dairy Products Company to remove a sign placed at the Northwest corner of 9th and Conroe Streets, be received and filed and referred to the City Nanager. Holiday I Commissioner 7agner offered motion that because of the fact that November llt Armistice Day , a legal holiday, falls on Sunday, I move that all city enployees, with the exception of the police and fire department personnel, be allowed a holiday Monday, November 12th, Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Pulliarp, 'Magner and 1:ayor Seaton (4). Payroll, last half Oct. 1945 Commissioner •:allner offered motion that the payroll for the last half of October, 1945 be allowed in the amount of ;;111,250.70, and that the City Treasurer be authorized to pay the same by checks drawn on the Ueneral `und.
