Commi sioner Pierce being stsent (1). i Re^orts of V' Commissioner Johnston offered motion that the following reports for the month L' A s :ire ^ept. of September 1945, be received: Dr. Pi.J.Eass, City Physician, Fire Department. Sept. 1945 Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Pulliam, Wagner and Mayor Seaton (4). Floodwall Commissioner Wagner offered motion that the letters of Gilbert Van B. 'Wilkes, ,ulf ^nofin+r.S Co. Colonel, United States District Engineers Office, and the letter of T. A. Bradley, Fence with reference to the construction of a fence by the Gulf Refining Company on the flood project R/lW be received and filed, and that the City of Paducah approve the location of the proposed gates and fence as shown on the attached plat and as recommended by the said T. A. Bradley, City Engineer, provided the location thereof Is approved by the United States District Engineers Office and the City of Paducah is , not required to incur or assume any expense or obligation for the construction of sa;d fence. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Pulliam, ,arner and Yayor Seaton (4). !:arbare Commissioner Johnston offered the following motion: I move that the certified letters ?: V .ettificate copy of the ordinance adopted by the board of Commissioners on the 5th day of October, 1945, entitled: "All OP.DINANCE ORDERING AN ELECTION BY THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF THE CI77 OF PADU^AH, KENTUCKY, TO BE HELD ON THE REGULAR ELECTION DAY, NOVEMBER 6th, 1945, IN THE OIW OF PADU^AH, KENTUCKY, TO DETERMINE THE QUESTION WHETHER THE CITY OF PADUCAH SHALL ISSUE AND SELL ICNDS OF SAID CITY TO THE EXTENT OF NOT L:SCEEDING ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND (``100,000.00) Dollars, BEARING INTEREST AT 711r.'
