Commissioner Pierce I being absent (1). " Yinutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read. Cenetery Commissioner Pulliam offered motion that the report of Oak Grove Cemetery :ie?ort Sept. 1945 for the month of' September, 1945, be received. Adopted on call of the •1011, Yeas, I Commissioners Johnston, Pulliam, ^agner and i-Iayor Seaton (4). Letter of Commissioner Pulliam offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive Ch. Gholson v Additional and file the letter of F. 4. uholson, Chief of the Paducah rare Department, in which Firemen he recommends that the personnel of the fire department be increased b/ the employ- ment of eight additional firemen. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Pulliam, Magner and Payor Seaton (4). Payroll last Commissioner '4agner offered motion that the payroll for the last half of helf of Sept 1945 September, 1945 be allowed in the amount of >;10,628.61, and that the City Treasurer be authorized to pay the same by checks drawn on the General Fund. JONES OF IAT 6 IN BLOCK 9 ON ROCK STREET IN THE CITE OF PADUCAH; AND AUTHORIZING THE YAY OR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE PROPER INSTRUMENTS uF CONVEYANCE I17 SAID PROPERTY", be adopted.
