Augu3t 27th 1932 I At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners' Chamber in the City Rall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, at 11:00 o'clock A.16. on the 27th day of August, 1932, Mayor Scott presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Comalssioners Block, Holt, Rieke, Bradshaw and Mayor Scott (5). Mayor Scott stated reason for call to •r:it: For the purpose of allowing interest on city bonds and to transact such other business as might come before the meeting. Allowance of Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the Commissioner of Public 6 months intor est due on Finance be authorized to pay the six months interest due September 1st, 1932, and City of Paducah Funding bonds the collection charge on the City of Paducah 1932 Funding Bonds sold to date, 1932, due Sept. 1st. amounting to y 139,000.00 as follows: 11Bonds sold $ 139,000.00 Interest rate 6% Semi-annual int. due 4,170.00 Bank's collection i� charge ; of 1% 10.43 Total amount due 4,180.43 Payment to be made through the Citizens Savings Bank, to the Chemical Bank & Trust Company, New York, t7.Y. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Holt, Rieke and Mayor Scott (5). Allowance of Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the Commissioner of Public Interest to Citizens Bank Finance be authorized to pay the Citizens Savings Bartc the amount of for remittance' to Chemical ^ 11328.55 for remittance to the Chemical Bank & Trust Company, Hew York, in Bank in New York. payment of the interest due from April 1st, 1932 to August 318t, 1932, inclusive on the unpaid balance of 0 52,100.00 on the notes for 90,000.00 executed to said bank by the City of Paducah in the year 1931. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Holt, Rieke and Mayor Scott (5). Scott & Quick Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the application of Scott Tobacco Co., exe^pted from & Quick Tobacco Company dated August 16th, 1932 for exemption fran all city ad all city and licence valorem and license taxes as provided under an ordinance passed by the Board taxes for 5 years, of Commissioncra September 24th, 1928, be approved.
