I Commission r Hannin offered the following motion: That the payroll for Payroll for last haaf of t;ay,1937f the last half of May, 1937, be allowed In the amount of $10,289.95, and that the J ;i City Treasurer be authorized to pay same by checks. Kidd, Tho;nsson - %:8th street Mayor Washburn offered the following motion: I move that the request of I. R. Brandsetter to change and transfer his license from 109 N.4th St. to 2605 Bridge st., be granted. Adopted or call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Lockwood, Pulliam and Mayor Ylashburn (4). Mayor Washburn offered the following motion: Having knowledge that a bul.ldin_ per:lt has been requested by James G. Wheeler, Dr. C. G. Kidd and Col. Gus Tho:nwson for the erection of stables on property known as the Old Fair Grounds, Vest of 28th street between Harrison and :onroe streets, I move that the Building Inspector be instructed not to Issue said permit because the commission Is of the opinion that the proposed construction of the stables is for coW.nercial purposes.
