M4yor Washburn stated reason for call, to -wit: For the purpose of hearing charges against J. B. Wilson, engaged in business known as '_idway Inn on North 13th str at, and to transact any other business that may co::ie before the meeting. Mayor Washburn offered the following motion: I move J. B. Wilson - Midway Inn - Charges filed that the executed notice for hearing of charges against J. B. Wilson engaged in business as the Mid -Way on North 13th street between Clay street and Park Avenue, be received and filed and that the Board of Commission..rs proceed with a hearing df said charges. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Lockwood, Melton, Pulliam and aayor Washburn (5). Mayor Washburn offered the following motion: The -§oard J. B. Wilson - Midway- idwayInn Inn- licenses re- ,of Commis:;ioncrs having had under consideration charges preferred against J. B. voked Wilson engaged in business as the ;.Mid -Way, and which pl•ce of business is located on North 13th street between Clay and Park Avenue in the City of Paducah and having heard testimony of numerous witnesses, including the respondent J.S. Wilson and the record of Police Court of plea of guilty to suffering gaming on his premises, and conviction therefor, and being sufficiently advised therefrom that the said I charges are sustained in full by said evidence, - I now move that said charges be sustained and that all licenses now held by the said J. B. Wilson to engage in 1 business in the City of Paducah be revoked effective as of this date. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Lockwood, Melton, Pulliam and Mayor Washburn (5). Family Service Mayor Washburn offered the following motion: I :move authorized to aid Tubbs fcmily that the Family Service be instructed to give immediate relief to Andrew Tubbs ,and family, to be charged on account of the City of Paducah and that a copy of pthe motion be delivered to the Family Service.
