Commissioner Hannin offered the following motion: Mrs. Sallie Oak Grove Cemetery- u Terry, widow of John L. Terry of Paducah, Kentucky, having presented to the tot from B.A.Farmer to .:.rs. Sallie ]Perry (Board of Commission rs her deed for 10 x 19 feet, being a part of Lot No.8 in > Block 14 in the new addition in Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah, Kentucky, which deed is executed and acknowledged by E. A. Farmer, - I :Hove that the conveyance lof said burial lot as aforesaid be approved, and that the cemetery records be h Ncorrected to show said conveyance. Commissioner Pulliam offered the following mot Jon: I move that �� Gambling -letter from City Manager to copy of the letter bearing date of October 10, 1936, addressed to Mayor Elgar Mayor regarding Rusty Hut Inn jT. Washburn and signed by L. V. Bean, City :tanager, regarding the proceedings ,,,,'on the Rusty Nut Inn be received and filed and that said letter be spread upon the minutes. Llayor Washburn offered the following motion: I move that the Street Light petitions 31st avid Madison "petition addressed to the Mayor and Board of Commissioners from residents in the "neighborhood of 31st and Madison streets, requesting that a street light be (placed at the int rsection of 51st and Aladison streets be received and filed, and that a street light be installed at the intersection of 31st and Madison streets, i ;provided there are sufficient funds on hand to pay for the cost of same, and that ithe matter be referred to the City Manger for his report. Mayor Washburn stated reason for call to -wit: For the , Purpose of allowin payroll for the first one-half of October, 19;•G, and to transact such other business as -ay come beofore the meeting. Payroll Commis:.fon.r Pulliam offered the following motion: That the payrolls for first a Oct. the firat half of October, 1936, be allowed in the amount of $8103.26, and that the 1936 City Treasurer be authorized to pay same by checks for the amount of $7473.26 and to pay the remainder of $630.00 with Paducah Industires Certificates.
