Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read. Commissioner Melton offered the following motion: That a license to permit the retailing of beer and Light wines to the fo-lowLng applicant be approved: Carroll's Grocery, by *. J. Carroll, 6th Tenn. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Lockwood, LeLton, Pulliam and Slayor Washburn (5). Patrolman Robert 'i Mayor Washburn offered the following motion: The hearing of Shelbourne Hearing 11 postponed (charges against -Patrolman Robert Shelbourne having been set for 3:00 o'clock this afternoon, and his attorney, Hon. C. C. Grassham being unable to be present Ito represent him at this time, - I move that the hearing on said charges be now !continued until 10 o'clock A.M. on October 9, 1936, and that said patrolman hremain suspended from duty pending said hearing.
