Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as r ad. Mayor Washburn offered the following motion: I move that my statement Special' ,eeting refusing to sign minutes of special mee ing of Aug. 26th be received, filed and 9ayorfs Mote- spread upon the minutes. Lost on call of the roll; Yeas; Hannin and Mayor Washburn (E sent Nays; Commissioners Helton and Pulliam. Commissioner Lockwood present but not voting. Commissioner Hannin offered the following motion: I move that a deed be Ethel' Harper granted to tars. Ethel Harper and E. C. Carney, for Lot #4, in Block #5, in Mausoleum & E.C. I Carney Addition in Oak Grove Cemetery be approved. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; lot in O.Grove Commissioners Hannin, Lockwood, Melton, Pulliam and Mayor Washburn (5). Commissioner Melton offered the following motion: Application for Beer License license to sell at retail, beer and light wines by R. E. Leeper, 413 No.3rd St., R.E. Leeper known as Riverside Lunch Room, having been introduced on August 20, 1936 and consider- ation thereof deferred, I now move that license or permit for retailing beer and light wines to R. E. Leeper, be approved and license be issued upon payment of the amount of license fee. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Lockwood, Melton and Mayor Washburn (4). Nays; Commissioner Pulliam (1). Commission:r Melton offered the following motion: That a license to Beer License' permit the retailing of beer and light wines to the following applicant be received E. ft. Keeling and filed and held until the next regular meeting for final action. H. R. Keeling, 728 So.3rd St., Known as Knitterfs Kitchen Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commission rs Hannin, Lockwood, -lelton, Pulliam and Mayor Washburn (5). Paducah Co=issionr Pulliam offered the following motion: I move that the dater ,Tk5 financial report of Paducah Water Works for the month of July, 1x36, be received and Ja_y report filed.
