M&yor Washburn stated reason for call, to -wit: For the purpose of considering application of the Bullmer Provision Company for a license to sell at wholesale beer and, light wines, and to transact any oth.r business that may come before the meeting. Commissioner Melton offered the following motion: I move that the Bullrer Provisicnapplicatioa of the Bullmer Provision Company for a license to sell at wholesale beer Co.Whole sale and light wines at 218 South Second street be approved, and that said license be issued Beer License 'upon payment of the proper fee therefor. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Melton, Pulliam and Mayor Washburn (4). li Commissioner lelton offered the following motion: Thursday, July 16th Railroad, Day 1936, being designated as Railroad Day in Paducah,- I move that the Mayor be authorized Dinner and instructed to invite the Railroad officials and the Drum and Bugle Corps of Chief Paduke Post #51 to attend a dinner at the Hotel Irvin Cobb, to be attended by all of said Railroad officials and the officials of the City of Paducah. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Yelton, Pulliam and Mayor Washburn (4). Commissioner Melton offered the following motion: I move that out of Appro- the appropriation ppropriation for advertising the trade, commerce, manufacturer and commercial :railroad Day din- resources of the City of Paducah, the sum of z551.00 be and the same is hereby set nor ;apart to pay the expenses of the dinner to be given in celebration of Railroad Week in yi Paducah of Thursday July 16, 1936.
