M., on the 25th d: -.y of June, 1936, 'Z'ayor Washburn presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commission.rs Hannin, Lockwood, Melton, Pulliam and Mayor t'ashburn (5). Mayor Washburn stated ret -son for call, to -wit: For the purpose of considering amended ordinance in regards to parking meters and one hour parking oruinance, and to transact any other business that may come before the Board. Mayor Washburn offered the following motion:,I move that the letter from Parkinr, ;:eters-lett:tr from Parkrite Corp. the Parkrite Corporation under date of June 25, 1936 addressed to the Jayor and approving amended ordinance Board of Commissioners, City of Paducah, approving amended ordinance and stating authority for said appaoval, signed by Glen L. Bruner, Counsel, be received, filed and spread upon the minutes: "June 25, 1936 2ayor and Board of Commissioners, Paducah, Kentucky Gentlemen: This is to advise you that the Parkrite Corporation accents the provisions of the amended ordinance regulaticg iasC _ic.4ioss and operation of parking meters, and agrees to the removal of thirty-six (36) one (1) hour meters from 'entucky avenue between Second street and Fifth street, and ninety-three (93) one (1) hour meters on Jefferson street from Second street to Seventh street. This being a removal of all meter heads from the two streets, but leaving the posts or standards in position for replacement of the meter heads should the citizens, through the Board of' Commissioners, request their replacement any time within ninety (:0) days from this date. The authority for accepting the ordinance and the lessenin!• of the number of meters installed is by telegraph authority under date of June 20, 1936 from J. E.
