KhNTUCKY, JUNE 24,_ 1936 - At an adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners' Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 10:00 o'clock A. M., on the 24th day of June, 1936, Mayor Washburn presided and upon call of the troll the following answered to their names: Co:amisslonars Hannin, Lockwood, :lelton, Pulliam and Mayor Washburn, (5). P I United 9rothcrhood of Mayor Washburn off:.red the following motion: I move that the Carpent.rs & Joiners 'communication addressed to the Mayor and Board of Commissioners from the United received & filed Broth.:rhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America be received, filed, spread upon the minutes and referred to the City Manager. "June 22, 1936 To the Mayor, Commissioners & City Manager We the members of Carpenters & Joiners #559 will work on Noble Park providing said job is made strictly a union job as far as carpenters are concerned. Mayor Washburn offered the following motion: I move that L. V. L. V. Bean to supply Board with lnformatia:Bean be requested to immeaiately supply the Board of Commission,:rs with the following on ..PA prpjects information: The name and number of WPA projects in the city of Paducah; the materials purchased, the name of the firm or person from whom purchased and price and voucher number; what sums, if any, have been transferred from one project to another, and if so the name and number of the project from which suns were trams- 'ferred and the amount of money so transferred, and the balance now on hand to the credit of each project. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Lockwood and Mayor Washburn (3). Nays; Commissioners Melton and Pulliam (2). J. P.
