JURE 1G, 1936 I 1 At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners' Chamber at the `'ity Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 11:00 o'clock A. ?.I., on the 16th day of June, 1936, Mayor Washburn presided and upon call of I the roll the following answered to their names: Commis�,ioncrs Hannan, Lockwood, Melton and Mayor Washburn (4). Mayor Ylashburn stated reason for call, Lo -wit: For the purpose of considering ordinance pertaining to group insurance, and any oth,ar busLness that may come before the meeting. Group Insurance Mayor ',ashburn offered the following motion: I move that the proposal received, ,; filed and approved proposal from the John Hancock Mutual'Life Insurance Company of Boston, Masa., for group insurance for employes of the city of Paducah, Kentucky be received and filed and approved by the Board. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Co:rmissioncrs Hannin, Lockwood, Belton and Mayor Washburn (4). f Mayor Washburn offered the following motion: I move that an Ordinance providing for obtaining and ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE OBTAINING AND PROCURING OF procuring group Life insurance for city LIFE INSURANCE ON THE GROUP PLAN FOR MEMBERS OF THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTPI10TS employes AND PhOVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE PREMIUMS THEREOF", be adopted. Adopted e on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Lockwood, ?Belton and Mayor Washburn (4). Group Insurance - Mayor Washburn offered the following motion: I move that the check for 4,40.00 City I:aanager be authorized to have a check dravm payable to the John Hancock is Mutual Life Insurance Company in the amount of Fort p Y y ($40.00) Dollars. Said check to be delivered to the authorized agent of said company upon thu city's signing a contract for group life insurance. Said Forty 040.00) Dollars to be designated as a binder for the first month premium for said group insurance and charged against the Contingent Fund. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Lockwood, Melton and Mayor Washburn (4). City Recreation Commissioner Lockwood offered the follo�ring motion: The City B(�pt. allowed x'100.
