At an adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in
the Commissioners' Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, on the 21st day
of "+ay, 1936, at 10:00 o'clock p.m„ pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Washburn
presided and upon call of the roll the followinE answered to their names:
Commissioners Hannin, Lockwood, Pulliam and Mayor V+ashburn (4).
General Fire Truck Commissioner Hannin offered the following motion: I move that the
Corporation. -
letter to Mayor communication from the Central Fire Truck Corporation, Detroit, Michigan,
addressed to the Mayor of the city of Paducah, in regard to past due account,
be received, filed and spread upon the minutes:
May 19th, 1936
"Lir. Edward T. Washburn, Mayor,
Paducah, Kentucky.
"Dear Sir:
"We have written a good many letters to Mr. Bean
regarding payment of our account and for some reason
none of our letters or telegrams have been answered.
"We feel sure that you realize this is not being fair
with us as this account is about a year old and it
should have been paid within thirty days time. Chief
Slaughter is familiar with this account as we have
also written him one or two letters requesting co-
operation to have payment sent us.
"Won't you please see that a remittance is forwarded
to us without further delay and we would be very grateful
to you for this kindness."

Commissioner Hannin offered the following motion: I move that an
