At a regular ineeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Comaissloners I Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Itentucky on the 29th day of April, 1935, at 2:00 o'clock P.?S. Mayor Scott presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Cowmissioners Baker, Bradshaw, Ripley, l.ashburn and Uayor Scott (5). Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read. Deed to Commissioner Baker offered the following motion. Sirs. Ada L. Jackson Ars. Ada L. Jackson in who is described as being the same person as Mrs. C. D. Jackson, having requested Oak Grove Cemetery that her deed be executed to a strip 10 feet by 12 feet on the East end of approved. Lot No. 1 in Block No. 50, located on the North side of Weil Avenue in Oak Grove Cemetery to Thomas A. Thompson be approved. I now move that said deed so executed by the said Mrs. Ada L. Jackson be approved and that the Cemetery record5 be corrected to show said conveyance. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Ba':_er, Bradshaw, Ripley, l9ashburn and Mayor Scott (5). i Liquor license Commissioner Baker offered motion that the follo--ving applicant be granted granted to A & P Company :a license to sell intoxicating alcoholic liquors by package upon payment of the y proper amount to the City Treasurer: The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company - 219 Broadway Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Bradshaw, Ripley, Washburn and Mayor Scott (5). Beer license granted to A & P Company H Commissioner Baker offered motion that a license to permit the retailing of beer and light wines be granted the following applicants upon payment of the proper amount to the City Treasurer: The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company - 219 Broadway Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Bradshaw, Ripley, V'iashburn and 'Mayor Scott (5). Resolution Mayor Scott offered motion that a Resolution entitled It A RESOLUTION regarding contract for ,AUTHORIZING TH5 CITY MAN. -GER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE LFASING OF THE le -, sing of City Stabler.
