Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read. Police Mayor Scott offered the following motion: The Gid & 11 RR. and the Po7rers granted. P 1 I R.R. having employed William Dunn as watchman in their said Railroad yards to William and the said William Dunn beim a citizen of Kentucky and more than 21 years of Dunn age, and the said G 11 & N R.R. and P & I R.R. having petitioned the City of Paducah that it grant Police Powers unto the said William Dunn I now move that the said William Dunn be granted Police Powers as watchman and guard for and on behalf of the G 1 & 11 R.R. and P & I R.R. for and on behalf of said Railroad Companies to serve xitbout compensation from the City of Paducah upon his complying with requirements of an ordinance relating to the granting and exercising of Police Pers which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah on the loth day of January 1920 and that bond be furnished by said employers as required by said ordinance. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Bradshaw, Ripley, 'Washburn and Mayor Scott (5). Lot in Counissioner Baker offered motion that a deed granted to Oal: Grove 'Mrs. Savanah Penlx for lot 14, 15 in block #49 on Weil Avenue in Oak Grove Cemetery deeded to y upon payment of $ 80.00 to the City Treasurer be approved.
