At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held In the Commissioners' Chamber at the City Rall, Paducah, Kentucky on the 4th day of June, 1934, at 2:00 o'clock P.M. Mayor Scott presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Baker, Bradshaw, Ripley, Washburn and Mayor Scott (5). Minutes of the Previous meeting were adopted as read. Hughes McKnight Commissioner Baker offered motion that exoneration of taxes in the exonerated on tax bill x3222 amount of $ 241.25 for the year 1934 on Tax Bill ,',`3222 against Hughes McKnight be allowed as per Court Order of April 1933. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Bradshaws Ripley, Washburn and Mayor Scott (5). Dan Orr exoner- Commissioner Baker offered motion that Dan Orr & Son be exonerated ated from Poll tax. of one (1) Poll Tax, the amount of $ 1.50 on Tax Bill #3569 for the year 1934. The bill shows two (2) Poll Taxes, being for Dari Orr and his son Arthur Orr, and the Tax Bill for 1934, on Bill #5666 against Arthur Orr shows his Poll tax included. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Bradshaw, Ripley, Washburn and Mayor Scott (5). Dr. F. A. Jones Commissioner Baker offered motion that Dr. F. A. Jones be exonerated on tax bill (;2572 exonerated for taxes in the amount of $ 37.14, on Tax Bill j2572 for the year a/ 1934 as per Court Order issued by McCrac!cen Quarterly Court dated 5/31/34/ Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Bradshaw, Ripley, Washburn and Mayor Scott (5). J. B. Loeb Commissioner Baker offered motion that J. B. Loeb be exonerated exonerated on tax bill ;;2959 for taxes in the amount of $ 57.07, on Tax Bill #2959 for the year 1934 as per Court Order issued by McCracken Quarterly Court dated 5/31/34. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Bradshaw, Ripley, Washburn and Mayor Scott (5). Loeb -Bloom Commissioner Baker offered motion that Loeb Bloom Realty Company Realty Company exonerated on be exonerated for taxes in the amount of $ 175.24, on Tax Bill #2960 for the Tax Hill #2360 year 19ZA as per Court Order issued by McCracken Quarterly Court dated 5/31/34/ Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Bradshaw, Ripley, Washburn and Mayor Scott (5). Mrs. Lizzie Commissioner Baker offered motion that Mrs. Liz..ie Dixon be Dixon exonerated on tax bill exonerated for taxes in the amount of $ 16.35 for the year 1933 as shown on j Tax Bill #1299; also for the same amount for the year 19M as shown on Tax Bill jM2; as the asses:.ment of $ 610.00 was the value placed by a Donut.y Assessor on Personal property, and signed by :Srs. Dixon's daughter without her . knowledge. Matt Commissioner Baker offered motion that ;Batt Wallace be exonerated for the Wallace exemnt Poll Tax of $ 1.50, charged on his Tax Bill ##5357 for the year 1934, as he is now from Poll Tax past the age licit; being 71 years old. Sam Commissioner Baker offered motion that Sam Denker be exonerated for the Denier exempt Poll Tax of $ 1.50, charged on his Tax Bill 111188 for the year 1934 as he has been from Poll Tax a non-resident for 15 years.
