Scott, Mayor and March 24th, 1934. Board of Commissioners. City of Paducah, Kentucky. A Gentlemen: EgR We, your Board of Equalization for the year 1934, have carefully gone i over the valises :,I&ced on Real Estate and Improvements by the Re -valuation Board appointed by the Board of Commissioners in the Fall of 1933, and found the values as a whole fairly ::cll equalized. In some Instances we found them too hi„h and too lora, and had to reduce and raise them. 0wing to the depressed conditions, we feel that no two sets of three '.ren each, could arrive at the same value for the many different pieces of property in the City of Paducah, and we further feel that owing to the low ebb of the ability of the Tax -payers to pay, we should give 'them the advontage of any doubt c to the true valuation. Therefore: nBe it resolved by the Board of Equalization, that each and every piece of Real Estate and Improvement, as shown on the 1934 Assessor's book shoring the values as established by the Board of Equalizotion, be reduced anti the values thereof are hereby reduced ten pear (10%) cent which shall be t - true v.rlue of said property for taxation for the year 19:4; It bei o: -:n:ierstood that said assessment is the assc.ssmen'; rshish i:: L,.nic es of :ar of July lst, 1938.11 ( ,:e wish to express our gratitude for the invaluable asslstonee rendered ::;,esnor, J.
