At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Commissioners' Chamber In the City Rall, Paducah, rentucky et 2:00 O'clock
P.M. on the 18th day of September, 1933, Mayor Scott presided and upon call
of the roll the following answered to their names: Con:micoionero Block,
Bradshaw, Rieke and Mayor Scott (4).
Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.
Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the bill of J. Yancy for amount
of $ 30.31 for gravel furnished the Street Department for the month of
August 1933 be allowed, same laving been duly approved for allowance and
payment, and that the Commissioner of Public Finance be outborized to oay same
and charge to the streFt department of Public 71orka. Adopted on call of the
roll: Yess; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Rieke and Mayor Scott (4).
Commissioner Rieke offered motion that John 7711. Polk, County Court Clerk,
be allowed the amount of $ 5.50 for expense of recording a deed from
J. E. Blakeney, liquidating Trustee for Smith & Scott Tobacco Company,
City of Paducah for property occupied by the Worthy Manufacturing Company,

j and that the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to pay same and
hcharge to Printing, Postage and Supplies Fund in the Department of Public
Finance. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas: Commissioners Block, Bradshaw,
Rieke and Mayor Scott (4).
Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the application from
J. L. Rumphries, #119 Broadway, for a license to permit the wlidlesaling of
beer and liSht wines be granted upon payment of the proner amount to the
Cormission•r of Public Finance. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas:

Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the Communication of
September 11th, 1933, from the General Fire Truck Corp., St. Louis, Missouri,
acknowledging payment of the final note on the Rook & Ladder Fire Truck
