At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Commissioners' Chamber In the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky at 4:30 o'clock
P.M. on the 1st day of September, 1933, Mayor Scott presided and upon call of
the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Block, Bradshaw,
Fieke and Mayor Scott (4).
Mayor Scott stated the reason for call to -wit. For the purpose
of allowing the payroll for the last half of August.
Metropolitan. Commissioner Rieke offered the following motion: Whereas, the
Casualty Co.'„
allowed Metropolitan Casualty Comonny of flew York paid their Insurance License of
credit for
1933 license 50.00 for the year 1932 through Huannel Brothers, their local agent on January
account of
having paid 30th, 1932, receipt #624, and also paid the same license through the Halteman
same twice in
1932. Insurance Agency, their local agent on February 9th, 1932, receipt #769, but
as the license has not been paid by either local agent for the Company for the
year 1933, I move that the Metropolitan Casualty Company be credited for
1933 license with the payment of v 50.00 for license paid by the Halteman
Insurance Company, and the Finance office receipts corrected accordingly.

Dr, 'Varner Commissioner Rieke offered motion that C. n. '.Varner be nl)o:ved the

car and for 1933, same having been duly approved for allowance and payment, and that the

month of Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to pay same and charge to the

Psyrolls Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the payrolls for the last
