Mayor Scott stated renson for call td rit: Fos the p:trpose of nllowing the payrolls for the last half of Uny, Mayor Scott offered the following motion: �'>herens Jim Swept, Incinerntor Keeper fbr tte City of Paducah was apportioned a salary of a 40.(10 per month for the year 1933 and, '.,hereas by an error in listing his name on the payrolls for the first four and one ',,Alf months of the year 1933, he was paid at the r ate of u• 36.00 per month I move that the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to allow said Jim Sweat ; 18.00 and that same be charged to the proper account in the Department of Public Affairs. Adopted on enll of the roll: Yens; Com-isaioners Block., Rieke and Mayor Scott (3). Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the amount of $ 833.39 be allowed from the General Fund to pay the sixth mont!;ly installment due June lat, 1933, on the amount of +,, 10,000.00 appropriated by resolution for the purpose of advertising the Trade, Manufacture and Commercial Resources of the City o" Paducah and that the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to draw a check for ;' 833.34, payable to the Paducah Board of Trade, said amount to be expended under the direction of the Mayor, Commissioner of Public Finance, and the Secretnry of Paducnh Board of Trade.
