Bradshaw, Rieke nod Mayor Scott (4). Minutes of the previous meetingswere adopted as read. Report Mayor Scott offeredmotion that the report of the Paducah 'later '.7orks of ::'ater .7orks ("unicipslly wined) for the month of March, 1933, be received and filed. Adopted for mnnth of on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Rieke and Mayor Scott (4). March 6 monthx Commissioner Rieke offered motion that allm„ance be made from the interest allowed General Fund and the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to pay the six on bond Issues (6) months interest and bank collection charge on the follosiru,; bond issue for total ?lard Surface amount of £ 4,229.30, due on May 1st, 1933. Sts.& R.' of way. 120,000.Co Hnrd Surface Streets and R. of 77ay Bonds 0% w 2700.00 2nd Dist 37,500.00 Second Dist. Cinim Co-an!issioner Rieke offered motion that Henrietta Jett be allowed the of Henrietim amount of �' 12.80 for stenographic services in transcribing the record in the Jett allowed. Clarence Scott inquest, who was accidently drowned within the city limits, and that the Co- issioner of Public Finance be authorized to pay same and charge to Costs and Suits in the Department of Public Affairs. Claim of Paducah Nater -orks for Fke Plug Rentals Ordinance providing taz for bus lines etc. Commissioner Rieke offered motion that '7, P. Paxton be exonernte9 from payment of the Poll Tax Charge of , l.'O on hip tax bill ,x/4034, For the year 1933, as tie is a non-resident of the city and now lives in McCracken County. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Rieke and Mayor Scott (4). , Commiasioner Rieke offered motion that Mrs. C. E. Richardson be refunded the fine erroneously assessed and paid by bar during the month of February, 1933, for violating a City parking Ordinance, at the intersection of Fourth and Broadway Streets, within the 60 foot space designated by Curb marking and warning sign, as per ordinance, but it appearing that no warning sign had as yet been posted, and furthermore, as it was proven by measurement that she was parked 20 feet further from the designated distance or 80 feet instead of 60 feet from said intersection, and therefore was not subject to a fine. I move that the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to nialce payment of the refund of $ 5.00 and charge to Contingent•Fund; Adopted on call 'of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Rieke and Mayor Cott (4). Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the claim of the Paducah Pfister Works for the Fire Plug Rentals for the month of March, 1933, amounting to w. 3790.83, be allowed and the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to pay same and charge to '.later Rentals in the Department of Public Affairs. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Rieke and Mayor Scott (4). Mayor Scott offered motion that an ordinance entitled " AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR LICF71SF TAX FOR BUS LINEN PA"P.ING'TNROUGH THF CITY OF PADUCAH 71T1qOUT LOCAL STATIONS AND ALSO APPLYING TO TT40SF n?ICft HAVF LOCAL STATIONS AND MAINTAINING BAIT "'ITHIN THF.
