At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 2:00 o'clock P.M. on the 20th day of February, 1933, Mayor Scott presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Rieke and Mayor Scott (4). The minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read. Note for $25,000 Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the Mayor and Commissioner executed for the City of Paducah of Public Finance be authorized to execute a note for the City of Paducah, to the Peoples National Bank dated February 2, 1933, to the Peooles National Bank for a loan of $ 25,000.00.' Adooted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Rieke and Mayor Scott (4). Claim of Irby Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the salary of 7.00 due Thomas for salary for first Irby F. Thomas for the first half of February 1933, as per agreement with the half of February McCracken County Relief Committee, be allowed for payment, and the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to pay same and charge to Miscellaneous Charity Fund. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Rieke and Mayor Scott (4). Cotton & Bskew Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the firm of Cotton & Eskew allowed 51,000.00 as nartial pay- Louisville, Kentucky, be allo.•red the amount of $ 1,000.00 as a partial payment ment on their contract, on their contract with the City for auditing the City books and records for the year 1932. Six months C6mmissioner Rieke offered motion that allowance be made from the interest allowed on Funding Bnrds General Fund for deposit in the General Sinking Fund, and the Commissioner of of 1932. Claim of Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the Commissioner of Public F.F.Graves for sery Finance be authroized to pay the bill of P. F. Graves for services as acting Police Ing as Police Judge on January 24th & 25th and Februart 6, 1933, in accordance with bill approved Judge. by Roy Holman, Judge of the Police Court, dated February 14, 1933, for $ 25.00 and that the same be charged to Contingent Fund. Deed grant- Commissioner Block offered motion that a deed be granted to ed to Tinnie Tinnie Hudgens for Lot #46, Block 5, in ak Grove Cemetery unon payment of $ 30.00 Hudgens in Oak to the Commissioner of Public Finance. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Grove Cemetery Cocmissionors Block, Bradshaw, Rieke and i.;ayor Scott (4). City Clerk Commissioner Block offered the following motion. It appearing that aut:norized to issue Clerk Boone, deceased, is the owner of n one grave lot in Oak Grove Cemetery, and burial p�r=it for left no menns to pay burial expenses, but as the County of McCracken has donated a Clark Boone casket, I move that the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to instruct the City Clerk, to issue a burial permit to Mai til, Ffinger ° Roth, Undertnkers, for arount of the fee, Q! 8.00, to be paid from the Cashier's Fund, and when the Csshler's Fund is reimbursed, said anount to be charged to the Charity Fund.
