AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONE REVERSION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 1335 BURNETT, FROM B-3, GENERAL BUSINESS ZONE TO R-3, MEDIUM DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL ZONE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO
EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution passed by the Paducah Planning Commission on June 17,
2002, and entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE ZONING REVERSION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1335
BURNETT STREET," be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein
set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the map amendment proposed in said
resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the
City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following described property be, and it
is hereby, changed from B-3, General Business Zone to R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of North le Street; said point being 230'
northeast of the intersection of the centerlines of North 14th Street and Burnett
Street; in a northerly direction from said point a distance of 215' to a point in the
centerline of a 20' alley; thence in an easterly direction with centerline of said
alley a distance of 230' to a point, said point being the centerline of Burnett
Street; thence in a southerly direction with centerline of Burnett Street a distance
of 215' to a point, said point being the intersection of Burnett Street and North
14`h Street; thence in a westerly direction 230' to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found
to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section,
paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the
purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof
separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separa e days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
