At a regular mooting of the hoard of Commissioners hold in the Commissioners Chamber in the City Ball Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 2:00 o'clock P.M. on the 28th day of November 1932, Mayor Scott presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their nnmes: Commissioners Block, Brndshaw, Holt, Risks and Mayor Scott (5). Minutes of the previous meetings were adoptod as read. Charity orders a Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the Commissioner of Public for month !{ " of October, 19321 Finance be authorized to pay the charity orders issued by the Family Service allowed. c Society for the month of October 1932 to the A. Switzer Produce Company not j exceeding the amount of $ 278.44 being half the total amount of all the orders issued, and charge to the Contingent Fund, same having been duly approved for !i allowance and payment. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bloc$ jBradshaw, Holt, Rieke and Mayor Scott (5). l I M. E. Kell Commissioner Rieke offered motion that M. E. Kell, 705 South 11th exonerated from paying the Street be exonerated from paying the assessment for taxes and poll tax on assessment for taxes and poll Tax Bill # 2458 for June and October 1932, amounting to $ 22.81 being a double tax on tax bill #2458 for June assessment, as the same property is also assessed to E. T. Shaffer on Tax Bill and October 1932, 4161 at the same location. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Holt, Rieke and Mayor Scott (5). City Board of Commissioner Rieke offered motion that the City Board of Education Education allows $ 54,527.31 - be allowed the amount of $ 54,527.31 due on tax collections for the month of tax collections for month of October 1932 and the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to make settle October. mont for said amount due the Board of Education Common School Fund. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Block, Bradshaw, Holt, Rieke and 1Layor Scott (5). Claim of l',. E. Connissioner Rieke offered motion that the claim of Cl. E. Brewer, Yrewer allowed. ;1157 Horth 13th Street for credit of 5.29, and accrued penalties for v .66 (sixty six cents) total amount ; 5.95 be allowod in order to cancel his 1932 October tax bill # 499 and that the Comnissionor of Public Finance be authorized to draw a check for said amount and charge some to the Contingent Fund, as it r.;:posrs that ',;. E. Brewer paid the full years taxes for 1932 during the June tax collection rush period, as evidenced by his concollod check, but he failed to J obtain his ^aid OctoLor bill. Roberts and her husband, George Roberts, to a portion of Lot #13 in Block Oak Grove Ccmoterr ,-%Y in Oak Grove Cometery, in Paducnh, btc Cracken County; Kentucky, which portion is to Sadie Calhoun 14 x 16 feet off the south side of said lot and the concession of a passage over Fanks from T_,ydin E. the balance of said lot, which is retained by Urs. .Oberts from the street on the Roberts and Georgi north side of said lot across to the part of. said lot conveyed to said Sadie Calhoun Roterts. Honks, to ratified subject to the rules and regulations of said cemetery and action of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah. And that such transfer be noted of record on the records kept by the City of Paducah for that purpose.
