HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Book 18, Page 80, May 25, 1928No. 8o Proceedings of City of Paducah N' !;T _1CY, 1&.Y 251H, 1928 At a Call W-eting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the Cosanisc±onerrt Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 2 OTClock P,N., on the 25th day of May, 1928, I1n7or Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissionors Bradshaw, Hnnnin, Nelson, Rutter and T•Tayor Lackey, (5). 11'nyor Lackey stated reason for call to -,.-.it: For the purpose of adjuating certain tax bills and such other business as may come before the Board, Commissioner Rutter offered motion that F.F. Metzger be nllowed the amount of $200.00 for nea gravel street assessment on 21st Street, "B" Street F.".T,ietz- to Mayfield Road, on Improvement Bill No.756 on account of over -assessment, and that _ Ger this amount be raid by the City to Fraser & Cocke, the Contractors, on their Contract No.2, the balance of the amount having been signed up on the 10 year payment plan. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas; Com-nissioners Bradshaw, Hnnnin, Nelson, Rutter and 'savor Lackey, (5). Co:mnissioner Rutter offered motion that Tars C.1.1. Emery be allowed the amojnt of $92,35 for noir gravel street assessment on Parell Street, Hays Emery to Asheraft Str•,ets, on I,,,provement Bill No'.590 on account of over -assessment, and that this aanunt be paid by the City to E.L.Beyer the Contractor on his Contract No.3,? the bsInnee of the assessment having been paid in cash. Adopted on the call of the r^11: Yeas; Commissioners Bradsha•:^, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey (5). Commissioner Rutter offered motion t -at Mrs Maggie Pocks be T'rs 1.•a3- allowed the amount of $31.41 for now gravel street assessment on North Street, 11th _c roc1.3 to 12th Streets, on 4provement Bill No:1052 on account of over -assessment, and that this amount be paid by the City to Fraser & Cocke, the Contractors on their Contract No.l, the balance of the assessment having been paid in cash.
