City of Paducah- %MIT: CKY, NOVE.0-I - -9, 1931— At--- At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissionors held in the Cor..misaioners' Clinmber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at e:00 o'clock P.M., on the 9th day of November, 1931, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their nnmos: Commissioners Bradshaw, Hnnnin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5). L'inutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read. Mrs.Mac I Commissioner Hannin offered motion that the deed of conveyance from Mrs. Russell Mae Russell to Mrs. Fathie M. Whitaker to Lot No.2 in block No.13 between Stewart - deed to 4'rs. street and Balser street in the Nevi Addition in Oak Grove Cemetery in the City of Fathie ''hit- Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, subject to the rules and regulations of said aker- lot in ce-.etery and subject to the conditions of said deed, be now ratified and approved by Oak G. ratified. the Baord of Commissioners. Adopted. on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Brndshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5), Fire Commissioner Nelson offered motion that the report of J.M.Slaughter, Chief Dept.Oet of the Fire Department, for the month of October, 1931 be received and filed. Adopted report on cnll of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Velson, Rutter and Mayor Lnckey, (5). Billings Com. issioner Rutter offered motion that the claim of Billings Printing Ptg•Co•+ Company for amount of $385,75, for furnishing ballots and sundry supplies used in the election claim I City School Board election, held on Tuesday, November 3, 1931, same having been approved by John W. Polk, County Court Clerk, be alloyed and the Commissioner of Public Finance authorized to pay same and charge to the Miscellaneous Undesignotod !Expenses Fund. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Futter and Mayor Lackey, (5). Cotton Mayor Lackey offered the following motion: Cotton k Eskow, Certified tr Eskew ,Public iccountonts, having in all respects completed the audit of the records of the final settle- ,!City of Paducah under and sent , pursuant to their contract nroviding for such audit, and having ten'cred to the city five (5) comploted written reports of said audit in detail Viand having rendered a statement in detail for their services in making said audit, and it nppenrinr that there is a balance now due and aving to said accountants of {'' 43.75 unpaid, which is nos due, I move that the Commisnionor of Public Finance be Sauthcriz,:d ac:l instructed to issue check to Cotton tc F.skew for the sum of 3,243.75 in Pill pet•.'• nt nl disrl;nrge of the balance clue on t`,cir account for said audit; and t*.,n.t sr -c_ !. i to ttie account of Miscellaneous Undeaignnted T,xoense3 Fund, nrI t:• -:t. s,.
