Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the report of the Paducah Water Works Paducah for the month of September, 1931 be received and filed; and that the amount of said Water 17ks. report & claim for bill, $3,742.75, be allowed and that t;je Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized 8ept.1931 to draw check in payment thereof. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Cormiasioner•s Bradshaw, Hannin, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (4). Johanna Commissioner Rutter, offered the following motion: It appearing that Johanna Lawrence penalties Lawrence is the owner of a small parcel of real estate in the city that had not been & interest allowed listed for taxes and that said property had not been located on the Block Map and said property owner having voluntarily offered to assess and pay the taxes on said property, and it appearing that the not amount of said tax is, for the years 1928 to 1931 inclusive, $30.34, and that the penalties and interest thereon is $5.86, and said taxpayer having offered to pay the amount of said taxes without panalty and interest, I move that the Commissioner of Public Finance be instructed to accept the net amount of said tax bill in full settlement of said taxes for said four years, and that the penalties and interest amounting to $5.86 thereon as shown by statement of said taxes be remitted and credited against said tax bills and that the record of said taxes as shoran by statement of the ssme with copies of the said tax bills be received and filed.
