At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Commissioners' Chamber in the City Hall Building on Tuesday, September 8th., 1931,
which was the first legal day after Monday, September 7th, 1931, which wns the
regular meeting day but some being a legal holiday said meeting was held on this day,
Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (4).
Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read.
Commissioner Bradshaw offered the following motion: The owners of property

on 8th st., on 8th street from Bilis street to Terrell street; and on Terrell street from 8th

of Section 5 of said ordin nee and that the Commissioners of Water Works of Paducah,
Kentucky be authorized, empowered and instructed to install said water mains and.

Illinois R. Commissioner Rutter offered the following motion: The claim of the Illinois
R.Co.,clnim
for frt. Central Railroad Company for freight charges on a car of crushed stone, amounting
to X68.00, having been duly approved for allowance and payment, I move that said
claim beallowed and that the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to pay
same and charge to the Street Fund in the Department of Public Works. V opted on
