Citq cif l'��dncxh , x�rr,u�rar AUGUST a7 193J At a cell uk eting, of the Board of Commissionora held in the CommissionersT Chamber in the City Hall building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 2:00 o'clock F.Y. on the 27th day of +august, 1931, Mayor Lackey presi,ied snd upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissionors bradshnw, Hannin, Rutter and Hpyor Lackey, (4). Mayor Lackey stated reason for cull, to -wit: Por the purpose of adopting resolution granting Paducah Water Worksjto a 3" pipe line connoetion to mr.in in Bridge street, and such other business as may come before the Hoard. ,nter Mr yor Lackey offered the following motion: Certain property owners in Mains to be ex- Butler Addition, lying outside the city adjacent to Tyler on Bridge street and Benton tended to Butler Road, having 'requested the Paducah Water Works to grant to them permission to connect Addition a 3" pipe line to the 6" main on Bridge street to supply water to residences Situated in butler he and Yarbr-ugh Lane, I move that permission be hereby granted to the Paducah Water 1,7orks to extend said water service into Butler Addition and Yarbrough Lane, and said Paducah :'later Works be authorized to so extend said water service upon the same rates and conditions for like service within the corporate limits of the city. No mains or service pipe, however,'besond the city limits to be furnished or installed by said Paducah Water Works. Hannin, man Zront ed police requesting that the board of Commissioners grant police power to .*;.J. Smallman as power special policeman for Oak Grove Cemetery, be received and filed and that the said W.J.Smallman be granted police power upon his executing bond and taking the oath as required b;• ordinance and law.
