At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Commissioners' Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah,
Kentucky at 2:00 o'clock P.N. on the 18th day of August, 1931, mayor Lackey
presided and upon call of the. roll the followinu answered to their names:
Commissioners Rannln, Nelson, Rutter anal Mayor Lackey, (4).
Mayor Lackey stated reason for call, to -wit: For the purpose of
allowing semi-monthly payrolls, and such other business as may come before the
Board.
Payrolls for first Commissioner Rutter.offered motion that the payrolls for the first half

of August, 1931 be allowed in the amount of $10247.01, and the Commissioner of
Public Finance authorized to say same. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas;
Commissioners Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (4).
McCracken Co.Ky. Commissioner Rutter offered the following motion: The claim of McCrnckon
claim for concrete
culvert pipe N County, Kentucky against the City of Paducah for 16 feet of concrete culvert pipe,
allowed
amounting to $24.00, having been duly approved for allowance andpayment, I now
move that same be allowed and the Commissioner of Public Finance'be authorized
to issue check to McCracken County fol said amount of $124.00 and charge same to the
proper department. Adopted on cull of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin,
Nelsen, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (4).
Brady M. Stewart- Mayor Lackey offered motion that the acc,,unt of Brady 19. Stewart for
fee for services
as Special Police x72.54 for services as Special Police Judge for nine days, amounting to $72.54

be allowed, and that tte CoTmissioner of Public Finance be authorized and
instructed to issue check in payment thereof. Adopted on call of the roll:
Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (4).
!.%Cracken CO.Ky. Mayor Lackey offered motion that the account of McCracken County
acct, for one-half
cost of new T.B. for $521.58, being one-half of the cost or expanse of the new tubercular
ho--pital at Sani-
tarium paid by Cityhospital at the Sanitarium, as per itemized bill, be allowed and that the

Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to issue check in payment thereof
to the Treasurer of McCracken County and charge some to the Contingent Fund.
Adopted on cull of the roll: Yens; Commissioners Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and
Npor Lackey, (4).
