AUGUST 10, 2951 F rnce�'diays At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the Corr.�issioners' Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 2:00 o'clock P.M. on the 10th day of August, 1931, Mnyor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Bradshnw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5). Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read. Villi Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the claim of William Burnley Burnley claim ,or for hay furnished the street department in the amount of $155.84, having been duly hay approved for allowance and payment, be allowed and the Commissioner of Public Finance authorized to say some and charge to the proper fund. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5). Henrietta Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the amount of $50.00 be allowed Jett fee for ser- bliss Henrietta Jett for two weeks services as secretary to the Mayor during the vices as Mayor's " vacation period of the regular secretary, and that the Commissioner of Public Finance secretary be aut*orized to pay some and charge to the Contingent Fund. Adapted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5). Paducah Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the report of the Paducah 4"ater Water Wks report k Works for the month of July, 1931 be received and filed; and that the amount of said claim for July,3931 bill, 6,3,722.34, be allowed and that the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to draw check in payment thereof. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5). City Bd. Mayor Lackey offered motion tint the report of the City Board of Health of Health report for for the month of July, 1931 be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; July,'Zl Commissioners Bredehow, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5). Resolut- Mayor Lackey offered motion to adopt a resolution entitled, "A RF°OLUTION ion pre- ferring PRI•FFRFING CUARGFS OF MIE'CO:1DUCt IN TRP.
