Minutes of the previous m c-tings %sere adopted as read, 17ill Reynolds- Commissioner Wadobaw offered the following motion: It appearing from the house 7joving bond attached communication from will Reynolds and his surety, Fidelity & Casualty released Yn Y+ y y Company of New York, by Hummell Brothers, Agents, that the two houses have been moved as follows: Hattie Wardell, frame building from south 9th street, under permit and bond dated May 13, 1931, and Luke Russell, frame building from south 9th street, under permit and bond dated May 21, 1931, that said buildings have been moved under the permits and the principal and svirety both having requested said bond be released, and the Commissioner of Public Works having examined the streets over which said buildings were moved and finding no damage or injury done Hereto, I now move that said communication be received and filed and that said surety in said two bonds be released, `adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshmv, Hannin, Nelson, flutter and T7ayor Laekey,(5). Maggie milks -deed Commissioner Hannin offered the following motion: Maggie Wilks having to lot in Oek Grove spplied for deed to 7� feet x 15 feet off the south ane -half of Lot No.54, Block No.l in Oak Grove Cemetery in the City of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, I now move that said deed be issued to the said Maggie 'Milks to said 7j- feet x 15 feet off the said south one-half of said Lot N0.54, Block No.l in the said Oak Grove Cemetery in the said City of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, upon payment to the Commissioner of Public Finance the sum of $ZO.00; Adopted on call of the roll: Yens; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5). Co,missioner Nelson offered motion that the report of J. ?I.,. Slaughter, Fire Chief, June rept. for the month of June, 1931. be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Brsdshaw, Fannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5). Paducah Commissionor Rutter offered motion that. the peport of the Paducah Water Yorks later iiks report k for the month of June, 1931 be received and filed; and that the amount of said bill, clnim- -june,1931 ,4,3,72204, be ailowed and that the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to draw check in payment thereof. City Bd.of Mayor Lackey offered motion that the report of the, City Board of Health fob the Hea lth June,1931 month of June, 1931 be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; report Com:ai.ssioners Bradsh^nw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5). Commissioner'Rutter offered motion to adopt an ordinance entitled, Borrow money- "AN ORDINANDE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND COMMISSIONER OF PUBLIC FINANCE $90,000. TO SOPRON THE SUM OF NINETY THOUSAND ($90,000.00) DOLLARS FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE CITY OF PrDUCAH, KENTUCKY AND TO EXECUTE A NOTE OR NOTES FOR SAID SUM OR SUMS FOR AND ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY, AND TO PLEDGE THE REVENUES OF THE CITY FOR THF. LAST ONE- HALF OF THE YEAR 1931 AS SECURITY THFRF_FOR."
