Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read. Paducah Mayor Lackey offered motion that the resolution from the Paducah Board of Bd.of Tra,b resolution Trade with reference to river. terminal at Paducah be received and filed. Adopted on filed call. of the roll: Yeas; Conmissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5). Mayor Lackey offdred the following motion; 'there having been filed with the Paducah Bd.of Tradr Board of Commissioners a request for permission to erect rail and river terminals at river & rail torn- Paducah, Kentucky at a point indicated as the northeast corner at the int-rsection of inal 1st and Jefferson streets ih Paducah, Kentucky, I move that the City Solicitor be instructed to confer with W.B. Kennedy and other interested parties for the purpose of ascertaining the requirements for such terminal, and that he prepare the necessary and permission for the construction and estnblishment of such terminal with the limits of time within which the same shall be ready for use. City Artll Commissioner Hutt r offered motion that the amount of $27,000.00 balance Bark bal due on the note executed by the City of Paducah to the City National Bank on January on note pd 30,1931 for $35,000.00, which becomes due on June 29, 1931, be allowed and the Cocaissicner of Public Finance authorized to pay same at maturity by drawing a check for said amount of 127,000.00 on the Special Street Improvement Fund. Diset.Sewer bonds 6 months Public Finance be authorized to pay the interest coupons for 6 months on the 3rd int.coupons District Sewer Bonds due July 10, 1931: Outstanding $600,000.0 Interest rate Annual interest 30,000.00 Semi -Annual interest 15,000.00 Bank's collection charge 37.50 Total $15,037.50 Payable through the City National Bank, Paducah, for remittance to the Chemical Baru. & Trust Company, New York, on or bar re July 10, 1931. Rosa Waltman Commissioner Rutter offered the folloiwing motion: The claim of claim allowed Rosa 67altmaw for amount of $55.13 having been duly approved for allowance and payment, I move that acme be allowed and the Commissioner of Public Finance authorized to issue a check on tt,e General Fund iceordingly and charge to the Repairs to City Buildings Fund in the Department of Public Property. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshav, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5). Casio orders -June Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the cash orders in the amount of $126.66 be allowed and the Commissioner of Public Finance be re imbursed by check on the General Fund for said amount; same to be charged to the proper funds.
