Minutes of the previous meetings viere adopted as read. Washington 8t., Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the City's part of the cost of 16th to 17th sts. construction of alley driveways on the J.M.ttouse Contract No.10 on ';:ashington Cont.$10 - City s part of cost street from 16th to 17th streets, amounting to $162.588 be allowed and charged to New Construction and the Commissioner of Public rit.ance authorized.to pay same from the General rand for deposit in the Special Street improvement Fund in order to make final settlement with the contractor. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackay, (5). billings Printing Commissioner Rutter orfered motion that the claim of billings Printing Co., claim for ballots etc Company for amount of $533.60 for furnishing ballots and sundry supplies used in last luesdayls city election, same having been approved by John Polk, County Court Clerk, be allowed and the Commissioner of Public r'inance authorized to pay same and charge to the Contingent r'und. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Neldon, Rutter and mayor Lackey, (5). bessle Cohen Commissioner Rutter offered the following motion: It appearing that in tax refund copying the y'ng previous assessment that Bessie Cohen was erroneously ns essed for the year 1930 taxes in the amount of $600.00 on personal property which she did not own, 1 move that the Commissioner of Public rinance be authorized to refund said Bessie Cohen the sum of 015.60 because of said erroneous assessment and on account of her tax bills #5359 for the months of June and October, 1930 having bean paid in full.
