At a call meeting of the board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners',
Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky ajt 2 o'clock p.m.
on the 5th day of November', 1930, Llayor Lackey prosldod and noon call of the roll
the follo•ain answered to their names: Commissioners Nelson, Rutter and l:�nyor Lackey,
(3).
Mayor Lackey stated reason for call, to -wit: r•or the purpose of passing
a motion to return bid check of C.:...McNear & Company on ''later "forks bonds, and such
otter business as may come before the board.
Yd C. Commissioner Ritter offered the following motion: It appearing that the
Laker
tax bill assessment of Ed C. Eakor for one house now knocm as 2524 Kentucky Avenue for 1930
refund
taxes was erroneously made for the reason that said house was not built until after
the asressing period, and that said assessment was N1500.00, I move that the
Co,mnissioncr of tublic P'inance be authorized to refund to the snid Ed c, maker the sum
of (39.00 because of said erroneous assessment upon the payment of his tax bill
x/1246 for 1930. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas: Commissioners Nelson, Rutter
and l.layor Lackey, (3).
C.;.McNeer Mayor Lackey offered the folliwing motion: The (12,282,000 Water Revenue
& Co.bid
check bond issue having been sold and delivered and the purchase price paid therefot by
returned
O.Cl.NeHear & Company and :'!alter, 17oody F: Heimerdinger, I now move that the bid bheck
furnished with said bid by C.!:I.Mcllear & Company for (;,401000.00 be now returned to
C.'.i.McNear & Company by the Commissioner of Public rinance. Adopted on call of the
roll: Yens; Commissioners Nelson, Rutter and Vayor Lackey, (3).
