At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the Commissioners?
Chamber In the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 10 o'clock a.ml
on the 11th day of October, 1930, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the
following answered to their names: Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and
Mayor Lackey, (5).
Mayor Lackey stated reason for can, to -wit: t,or the purpose of accenting
Contract No.10, and such other business as may come before the board,
McCracken Commissioner Bradshaw offered motion that the claim of McCracken County for
Co.claim 572.61 for work and material used in improving and repairing the Husbands Road Street,
for work,
etc on from the junction of bridgeright-of-way
Husbands street to the ri ht-of-wa of the Illinois Central
Fond Railroad on said Husbands Road, some having been done under the supervision of the
Commissioner of, Public.';'orks and at his request, be allowed and ordered paid and _
charged to the account of New Construction. Adopted on call -of the roll: Yeas;
Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5).
Commissioner Bradshaw offered the following motion: J.M.Rouse Contracting
Washing Company, Contractors, having completed the construction of sidewalk, driveways, curb
ton St.,
16th to and gutter on both sides of Washington Street, from the west property line of 16th

gutter and all :pork incident thereto, and would be in session at 10 o'clock a.m.
on Saturday, October 11th, 1930 in the Commissioners' Chamber in the City Hall
building in the amity of Paducah, Kentucky, to hear any comolaint 0r protest with
reference to. the doing and acceptance of said work, and the cost thereof as set out
in said notice, and sni¢ board of Commissioners having so inspected said work and
finding same has been completed in accordance witil said contract, and -no one hnving
made or lodged any complaint or protest with reference thereto as provided in said
nosice, or at all, I now move that said sidewalk, drivownya, curb and -gutter and all
work done in connection therewith be accepted; same being known no Sidewnik, Driveways,
Curb end Gutter Contract No.10,•J.M.Rouso Contracting Company, Contractors, and that
the enginesrla estimated cost of s&-ne be confirmed and Vat snid estimates be turned
ofer to the Cor-Wission^,r of Public r'inonco for collection, snd that the City Solicitor
be instructed to prepare sn ordinance assessing the property as shown by the
cr_ineerlo estimates. Adopted on call of the roll: Yens; Commissioners Brodsh9a,
