At a call meeting of the board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners'
Chn^-ber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 10 o'clock a.m.
on the 12th day of September, 1930, Mnyor Lnckey presided andupon call of the roll
the followina nnsnered to their names: Commission re Hnnnin, Nelson, Rutter and
Mayor L,ckey, (4).
Paducah M"or Lnckdy stated reason for call, to -wit: For the purpose of
Plater receiving bids on bonds for the purchase of the Paducah Water Works, and such other

bias on business as may come before the Board, and announced that he had received sealed
bends
received bids as follows: !7e11, Roth & Irving, Caldwell & Company, C.W. McNear & Company.
and falter, 1.7oody, and Stranahan, Harris & Company. Said bids were opened and
read to the Board of Commissioners and the bid checks were delivered to the
Commissioner of Public Finance to be held until the Board had acted upon said
bids, and after hearing explanations in open meeting of the different bidders the
Board recessed until two o'clock on this day.
Meeting reconvened at 2:00 01clock with Mayor Lackey presiding and upon
call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Bradshaw,
Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5).
Water 1P1ks Mayor Lackey offered motion to adopt a resolution entitled, "A RFS
