At a regular mnoting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the
ConnistirnersI Chnmeber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky
at 2 o'clock p.m. on the 6th day of September, 1930, Cnyor Lsokey presided and
upon call of the roll the following answered to their nnmes: Commissioners Rradshnw,
Hnnnin, Nelson, Rutter and !layer Lackey, (5).
Minutes of t"e previous meetings were adopted as read.
Corc^.issloner Bradshaw offered the following motion: Southern Ponds
S.7th St.
Vash.to Company having executed construction bond for the construction of the drive -ay on
Clark St.
F.S. South Seventh Street, from the north property line of Washington street to the south
contract
& Bond property line of Clark street, and having executed Contract No.l covering said work,
filed
which bond has been approved by the Mayor and signed by Southern Roads Company as
principal and the National Surety Company of New York as surety, and the contract
approved by the City Solicitor, I now move that said contract andbond be received
and filed and that the certified bid check of Somxthern Roads Company be delivered to
them by the Cor-,issioner of Public Finance. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas;
Commissioners Pr*ds'rr, Fannin, Nelsen, Rutter and rrayor Lackey, (5).
Fred Cope Co=ission,r Hannin offered the following motion: Fred Cope having applied
lot in for deed to a three grave lot in Section 13, Oak Grove Cemetery in the City of
Oak Grove
Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, I move that said deed be issued to the said Fred
Cope to snid 3 grave lot in said Section 13, Oak Grove Cemetery in the City of
Paducah, rtcCrocker County, Kentucky upon payment to the Com^issioner of Public Finance
the sum of $50.00. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshn:•.,
Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and N.ayor Lackey, (5).
Fire Dept Commissioner Nelson offered motion that the report of J."'. Slaughter,
Aug.rept Fire Chief, for the month of August, 1930 be received and filed. Adontoc on call
of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey,
