HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Book 18, Page 510, June 16, 1930Nu 510 Proceedings of BOARD or coi,slazotiefi Gi(ij of Paducah yff ifi � At a regular meeting of the Bonrd of Commissioners held in the Commissioners' Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 24o'clock P.M., on the 16th day or Juno, 1930, In,-'thelabsegco of Mayor Lackey, who is confinedto his home on account of illness, Cormisrioner Nelson presided no Mayor pro tem, and'upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Hannin, Rutter and Mayor pro tem Nelson, (3). Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read. Commissioner Hannin offered the following motion: Ellen Woodard Ellen Woodard- having applied Cor deed to a 2 grave lot on Stewart Street in Oak Grove Cemetery, deed to lot in Oak Grove Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, I now move that said deed be issued to the said Ellen Woodard to said 2 grave lot on Stewart Street in Oak Grove Cemetery upon payment to the Commissioner of Public finance the sum of $30.00. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bennie_, Rutter and Voyor pro tem Nelson, (3). Commissioner Hannin offered the folloning motion: Mrs Alice Etheridge Kra Mary Alice Etheridge -dead to having anplied for deed to the north one-half of Lot No.37, Block No.l in Oak lot in Oak Grove Grove Cemetery in the City of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, I now move that said deed be issued to the said Mrs Mary Alice Etheridge to the said north one-half of Lot No.37, Block No.l in Oak Grove Cemetery upon payment to the Commissioner of Public Finance the sum of $110.00. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Rutter and Mayor pro tem Nelson, (3). Cash orders-2,iay,180 Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the cash orders in the amount of $113.24 be allowed and the Commissioner of Public Vinance be reimbursed by check on the General Fund for amount of $113.24; some to be charged to the proper funds. Collections and Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the report of collections and Disbursements -May, disbursements for the month of May, 1930 be received and filed. Commissioner Rutter offered motion thnt the claims for the month of May, 1970 be allowed in the nmount of x7.2260.35 and the Commissioner of Public finance suthorized to pay soma. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hannin, Futter and Mayor pro tem Nelson, (3). %pecial St. Impv. Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the report of the Special Fund report for May, 1980 Street improverent Fund for the month of May, 1930 be received and filed. Ohio Valley Canvas Co:crrin-:Amer Futter offered motion that the account of Ohio Valley `upply Co., -claim Canvas -upply Company for aisnings at Riverside hospital, ar..ounting to $309.80, for nwn.ngo at P.±verside to approved and. alloyed, and that the Commissioner of Public r`±rance be auttorized to psr the sore and chorge. to aeenunt of Niveraido Hospital Permanent Improvements.
