At a call meting of the Board of Com-nia^loners held in the
Go•-minaioncra' Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah,
Kentucky at 10 oIclock A. M. on the 17th day of May, 1930, in the absonce
of Mayor 1'ackey, who .wis confined to his home on account of illness,
Conmiasioner Nelson presided as Mnvor pro tem and upon call of the roll the
following answered to their nomes: Com•aissloners Hannin, Rutter and Mnyor
pro tem Nelson, (3).
Major pro tem Nelson stnted reason for call, to -wit: For the
n.,ruore of allowing expenses .for City Solicitor to go to frankfort on '_egnl
Business for the city, and such other business as mny home before the Board.
Commissioner Rutter offered the follotring motion: It being necessary
that the City Solicitor go to Frankfort, Kentucky for the purpose of attending
City Solicitor to to certain legal matters affecting t1•e City of Paducah, and the estimated
Frankfort.
cost of said trip being $40.00, I now move that the Commi- iorer of Public
Finance be instructed to pay to '7.V.Eston, City Solicitor, the sum of 5;40.00
for the purpose of defraying the expenses of said trip to Frankfort; same
to be charged to Costs & Suits. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas;
Co,rmissioners Hannin, Rutter and Payor pro tem Nelson, (3).
On motion meting adjourned.
