At a onil meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Corm.issioners' Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky
at 2 o'clock P.M., on the 10th day of April,' 1930, in the absence of Mayor
Lackey, Commissioner Nelson presided as Mayor pro tem, and upon call. of the
roll the following answers,' to their names: Commissioners Bradshaw, Rannin,
Rutter and Mayor pro tem Nelson, (4).
Mayor pro tem Nelson stated reason for call, to -wit: For the purpose

final settlement
of accepting final report on J.M.Rouso Contracting Company Contract No.5, authorizil
the issuance of Improvement Bonds, and such other business as may come before the
Board.
Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the report on the J.M.Rouse
Contracting Company Contract No.5 be accepted and the Commissioner of Public
Finance authorized to make final settlement upon sale of the Improvement ifonds
to be issued thereon on the ten year payment plan; and that the Mayor and
Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to have printed, executed and
sold such Improvement Bonds to the amount of $1899.85 in accordance with the
provisions of Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes governing same. Adopted
on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Brndshnw, Rannin, Rutter and Mayor pro
tem Nelson, (4).
Commissioner Bradshaw offered motion that the communication from the

excavation bond`
Etna Cawalty & Surety Company, requesting that it be released from liability
cancelled. .1

on its bond executed to the City of Paducah for the use and benefit of J.M.Reod
and Company, be received and filed; and it appearing that both the sold principal
and surety in said bond have requested that said bond be cancelled and the surety
released, I now move that the said bond be cancelled and the surety, the Etna
Casualty a Surety Company, be released, and that the permit of the said J.M.heed
& Company to make excavations in the streets of Paducah, issued pursunnt to the
execution of the said bond, be now cancelled rind held for naught. Adopted
on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Brndshav, Rannin, Rutter and M.9yor pro
tem Nelson, (4).

Blythe having tendered to ille City of Paducah herr nfridavit and bond as required
coupons lost
by law, showing that she is the' owner of interest coupons, on; for $.'i0.00 and one
for $7.75, on certain Sewer Lateral Improvement bonds 1 -sued by the Uity of
Paducah, and wrich Interest coupons were lost without fault upon her pnrt, and
having tendered wit', said affidavit her bond as required by law to indemnify the
City of Paducah from loss and damages by the payment of said lose interest
coupons, I now move t} -at said affidavit and bond be received and filed,nnd that
the Commisnioner of Rttlia Finance be authorized andinstracted to issue check to
Ire Henrietta Hlythe In payment of the nmount of said Interest coupons nod
charge same to the proper aveo,tnt. Adoptu(i on enll of the roll: Yenn;
