City of Paducah ,_ KENTUCKY, FFBfUARY 4, 19,0 At a cell meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the Commissioners' Chamber in the City Ha11 Building in the- City of Paducah, Kentucky at 2 o�clock P.M., on the 4th day of February, 1930, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll. the folio,^ins answered to their names: Commissioners llonnin, Nolaon, Rutter and M-yor Lnckey, (4). Mayor Lackey stated reason for call, to -exit: For the purpose of awarding contract for 1000 feet of fire hose and such other business as may come before the Board.' Commissioner Nelson offered the following motion: The Commissioner of Fire Dept. a^ard Public safety having heretofore advertised for bids for 1000 feet of cotton rubber Cont.for lined hose with couplins, and'it appearing from the bids submitted that the bid of hose to H.L.Petter B.A.Petter supply Company is the lowest and best bid, and the said H.A.Petter Supply Company o^tering to furnish said 2j inch cotton rubber lined hose, known as Manhattan Economy Heavy Duty Underwriters Double Jacket Fire Nose, at the price of 94jq� pox, foot, amounting to $945.00 for said hose and couplins as shown by said bid, which is filed herewith, I non move'that the bid of they said H.t..Petter Supply Company to furnish said 1000 feet of 2j inch cotton ruLber lined fire hose with couplins as ser said bid aforesaid, be received, accepted and a^nroved; and that the Commissioner of Public Snfety be and he is hereby authorized to purchase same and charge same to account of Fire Department. Adopted on call of the roll: Yess; Commissioners Hnnnin, Nelson, Mutter and tlayor Lackey, (4). Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the payrolls for the last half Payrolls Last half of January, 1930 be allowed in the amount of 13819.and the Commissioner of $ 40 Jan.,1930 Putlic Finance authorized to pay same.
